Derbyshire Constabulary and the Police and Crime Commissioner Host “Ask for Angela” Training Sessions for Night-Time Economy |
||
Derbyshire Constabulary, in partnership with the Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire, is inviting members of the public and businesses operating within the night-time economy to attend free “Ask for Angela” training sessions on 20th November 2025. The “Ask for Angela” initiative is a nationally recognised safety campaign designed to help people who feel vulnerable or unsafe in licensed premises. By training staff to recognise and respond appropriately to the phrase “Ask for Angela,” we aim to create safer environments across Derbyshire’s night-time economy. We are offering two training sessions to accommodate different schedules: Both sessions will provide practical guidance, real-world scenarios, and resources to support implementation in your venue or organisation. Booking is essential and can be made via Eventbrite using the links provided below: 👉 Afternoon https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ask-for-angela-training-session-afternoon-tickets-1818832540089?aff=oddtdtcreator We encourage all venues, staff, and stakeholders involved in the night-time economy to take part in this important initiative to help make Derbyshire a safer place for everyone.
